BURY have signed former Manchester United starlet Ben Thornley after impressing on trial at Gigg Lane.
Thornley has signed on non-contract terms and is available for this weekend's game at home to Huddersfield.
The 28-year-old was released by Blackpool at the end of last season and has been looking for a new club.
The diminutive winger had been on trial at Bury since last month and he has done enough to impress Shakers player-manager Andy Preece.
