Peters to leave Bees
Brentford striker Mark Peters is ready to quit Griffin Park after handing in a transfer request.
Peters has become frustrated at his lack of first team opportunities since he arrived from Southampton on a free transfer over 18 months ago.
The 20-year-old has made just 15 appearances for the Second Division side and has opted to leave to further his career.
He saw a temporary move to Conference club Aldershot collapse last month after his suitors realised they had used up their loan allocation.
Bees boss Wally Downes has accepted Peters's request and circulated the young forward's name around The Football League.
