CHARISTEAS PLANS WERDER EXIT
Greek international striker Angelos Charisteas has revealed that he is discontent with a lack of first team action this season at Werder Bremen.
The 23-year-old has admitted that he is considering his future and could soon be leaving the Weser Stadion.
Charisteas has only started one of Werder's last nine games following the emergence of Ivan Klasnic, who has established an impressive strike partnership with Brazilian Ailton.
The striker is well aware that a lack of first team action could diminish his chances of playing for his country in Euro 2004.
''I've got to play more,'' Charisteas said.
''If I can't play at Werder then a move is maybe the only solution. It can't go on like this.
''Perhaps I'll be able to go somewhere else on loan during the winter break.''
The Greek striker, who scored nine Bundesliga last season, has hit the target only once in four appearances for Werder this term.
