Rams call on loan request

Derby County have called on The Football League to scrub Lee Bradbury's first loan spell at Pride Park from the club's records.

The Portsmouth striker lasted just 74 minutes during his first spell, before injury cut short his stay forcing a return to Pompey.

The Rams have brought him back to the Midlands outfit, but want his first stay erased, due to its length, giving manager George Burley three instead of two loans for the remainder of the campaign.

"The Football League are looking into it and we are waiting to hear from them," said club secretary Keith Pearson.

Bradbury is back at Derby and is simply concentrating on performing on the pitch rather than securing a permanent move to the First Division outfit.

"I am just here to get games under my belt," said the striker. "Whether or not I sign at the end of my loan is not my main priority at the moment."
