Gers agree Rae fee
The 26-year-old has been on the verge of a move to Ibrox for some time but the inability of the two clubs to agree on a fee had put the whole transfer in jeopardy.
The Dark Blues have previously rejected three bids from Ibrox and branded them as 'insulting' offers for a player of the quality of Rae.
However, the Scottish champions seem to have finally come up with a suitable offer and Rae has now been given permission to talk over personal terms with The Light Blues.
Gers boss Alex McLeish has been a fan of Rae's for some time and will now be hoping to tie up the deal in time for him to make his debut in the red-hot atmosphere of the Old Firm clash at Parkhead this Saturday.
Financially stricken Dundee have recently had to lay off a number of staff as their crippling financial debts rise to around £20 million.
Rae has been with the club since signing his first professional contract in 1996 but now finally looks set to leave Tayside for Glasgow.
