Lille pounce for Spurs ace
Tottenham's Milenko Acimovic is on his way to Lille, after revealing last week he was on the brink of leaving White Hart Lane.
The Slovenia international is set to agree a loan deal to the French side, that will run until the end of the Ligue 1 season, and will look to find his feet at his new club.
However, it is understood that the 26-year-old midfielder could be used in a wing back role, as LOSC have been dealt a major injury blow following Christophe Landrin's double shin fracture last weekend, that brought a premature end to the defender's campaign.
Acimovic had also been linked with West Ham United, but a move to the continent was perhaps always the likeliest option for the Ljubljana-born player.
