Wiltord to quit Gunners

Arsenal striker Sylvain Wiltord has conceded that his days at Highbury are over after being frozen out of things by Arsene Wenger.

The 29-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has failed to agree a new deal and seems set to exit North London in the summer.

The French international admitted he is now considering his future away from Arsenal with a move to Paris Saint Germain possibly in the offing.

"There is life after Arsenal. Now I just have to get on with it," Wiltord told the News of the World.

"I thought we would agree a new contract. But the club have not come back to me, so that looks to be it.

"In the old days, I used to say 'Arsenal is Arsenal, where else would anyone want to be?'

"But now I have realised it is different. With the new regulations I am free to sign a contract with another club for next season and we will see what happens.

"I've been getting some calls, though I prefer to finish this season and make my choice of where to go after that.

"The fact I haven't been playing much has helped the talk to grow about me leaving."
