Hamburg sign Hleb
Hamburg have signed talented Stuttgart striker Vyacheslav Hleb.
The 20-year-old Belarus native is the younger brother of VfB playmaker Alexander Hleb (pictured) and has been the star of Stuttgart's amateur team since arriving at the club in 2000.
Hleb has yet to make the breakthrough into the first team at Stuttgart and so has decided to try his luck with Hamburg by signing a deal through to 2006 on Friday.
"He is exactly the sort of player we've been looking for - young and talented," commented Hamburg coach Klaus Toppmoller.
Stuttgart are reported to have pocketed a transfer fee of £100,000 for the youngster.
