Italian transfer round-up

A busy final day to the Serie A window saw a mass of transfers go through - with Ancona continuing their overhaul and Parma making a switch of their Internazionale loan players.

Ancona will line up for the second half of the season with an entirely different side to the one that left them marooned at the bottom of the top-flight.

The final day saw the arrival of Cagliari's striker Christian Bucchi - with Roberto Maltagliati going in the opposite direction.

Davide Carrus left the club for Fiorentina, as part of a deal that saw Luis Helguera move to Ancona, and Parma loaned Daniele Degano from the club.

Ancona also allowed Alessandro Potenza to return to Inter, but the Nerrazzuri immediately sent the player out on loan to Parma, who swapped him for Abdulai Isah Eliakwu who only left the Milan club a week ago.

Pasquale Luiso left Ancona for Catanzaro and Mads Jorgensen returned to Denmark with Brondby, whilst Stefano Mundala left for Cesena.

Elsewhere, Sampdoria snapped up young talent Antonio Floro Flores on loan from Napoli and Biagio Pagano from Atalanta.

Lecce loaned midfielder Daniele Franceschini from Chievo and Massimo Stendardo from Napoli.

Modena loaned Chievo's John Mensah, whilst Chievo brought in Siena's Simone Bonomi and obtained joint ownership of Alfredo Cariello.

Brescia loaned out Raul Alberto Gonzales to Martina whilst Bologna allowed Juarez to join Siena.

Udinese loaned out Siyabonga Nomvete to Salernitana, and Empoli's Francesco Lodi moved to Vicenza.

Finally, Giovanni Morabito moved from Genoa to Reggina.
