Potters call back Henry

Stoke City have cut short young midfielder Karl Henry's loan spell at Third Division side Cheltenham Town.

Henry initially joined The Robins in January and was due to stay at Whaddon Road until April.

The 21-year-old has made nine appearances for Cheltenham but has been recalled to The Britannia Stadium due to injuries.

With John Eustace and Darel Russell sidelined, Potters boss Tony Pulis has added Henry to the squad to face Watford on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Stoke goalkeeper Ben Foster has been loaned to Dr Martens League side Stafford Rangers.

Foster has not played for The Potters this season after damaging his cruciate ligament last summer and he joins Stafford to gain some much-needed playing time.
