Groves stays with The Iron
Scunthorpe United have signed former Grimsby Town player-manager Paul Groves until the end of the season.
Groves initially joined The Iron on a four-week loan late last month following his sacking as boss of The Mariners.
He has since agreed a settlement to his playing contract with the Blundell Park outfit and joined the managerless Division Three until the season's end.
Groves will look to help Scunthorpe keep clear of the foot of the table following the club's five-match run without a victory.
