Colchester continue search

Colchester United are continuing their hunt for possible new signings and have taken yet more trialists on.

The Essex side looked at 13 trialists in one game at the beginning of this month and now they have invited some of those back, along with a couple of new faces.

Of the 13 that have already been with The U's, Lee Wilson and Fahrudin Kuduzovic have come back from Derby County, Ahmed Dean returns from Leicester and Coventry duo Roy O'Donovan and Hosein Yadzani also get another chance to impress.

The new boys are Sam Morrow and Gary Middleton.

Northern Irish striker Morrow is currently with Ipswich and has been training with Stockport, but he is trying his luck at Layer Road.

19-year-old defender Middleton comes in from Reading - where he is yet to make a first team display.

All the trialists will feature in Colchester's reserve team encounter with Northampton on Tuesday.
