Imps land Littlejohn

Lincoln City have signed striker Adrian Littlejohn to a six-month contract.

Lincoln City have signed former Port Vale striker Adrian Littlejohn to a six-month contract at Sincil Bank.

The 33-year-old joins Keith Alexander's side after turning down a similar short-term contract with Lincoln's local rivals Scunthorpe United.

Littlejohn was one of three players released by Vale manager Martin Foyle at the end of last season.

"Adrian is an experienced player who has that little bit of nous that we need in our squad," Alexander told Lincoln's official website.

The hit-man's move to The Imps makes it the eighth club Littlejohn will play for in his career, having started out with West Bromwich Albion.

The striker has already had spells with Walsall, Sheffield United, Plymouth Argyle, Oldham Athletic and Bury.
