Michael Owen is already in Spain to undergo a medical and seal his move to Real Madrid from Liverpool.The England striker has flown to Madrid with his girlfriend Louise Bonsall and a legal representative to complete his move.
Owen is expected to seal a five-year-deal with Real, who hope he will slot in alongside current strikers such as Raul, Ronaldo and Fernando Morientes.

The diminutive striker had indicated he was ready to sign a new deal with the club last week - almost 14 months after he had opened negotiations over a new contract to stay at Anfield.

Owen is believed to be agreeing to a wage in excess of £2.5 million a year, not including bonuses.
