QPR land foreign investment

QPR have confirmed new investment in the Championship club.

Queens Park Rangers chairman Bill Power has confirmed that new investment has been made in the Championship club.

New York-based Monte Carlo investment group Barnaby Holdings have bought a 10 percent stake in the Loftus Road outfit - a deal worth £550,000.

The deal comes with an option for the consortium to buy an additional 19.9 percent share option in the near future.

The new consortium will be represented on the QPR board by Mr Andrea Primicerio, with Power expressing his delight in the new cash injection for Ian Holloway's side.

"We are delighted to be able to confirm Barnaby Holdings' investment in Rangers, and we look forward to working with people who are committed to helping move our club forward," Power told the club's official website

"Mr Primicerio and his consortium are purely football-focused people and they share our ambitions for the club."

Meanwhile, Scottish First Division club Raith Rovers have taken the QPR midfield duo of Jack Perry and Wes Daly on lengthy loan deals for the current campaign.
