Chesterfield offer new deals

Chesterfield have offered new deals to key duo Mark Hudson and Ian Evatt.

The Spireites have offered both players new two-year deal to extend their stays at Saltergate.

Both players are out of contract at the end of the season and Chesterfield boss Roy McFarland is determined to keep the pair.

"We are all keen to enjoy a period of stability at the club after the turmoil of the last few years, and extending some existing contracts will help us with this aim.

"The players are now considering the club's offer and are expected to give their response in the near future."
