Portsmouth have completed the permanent signing of Diomansy Kamara.
Portsmouth have completed the permanent signing of Senegalese striker Diomansy Kamara from Modena.Kamara has penned a three-year deal at Fratton Park after it was initially thought he would arrive on loan.
Pompey have been chasing a new striker all summer and Kamara will help bolster Harry Redknap's options in attack.
Fratton Park chief executive Peter Storrie claims Portsmouth beat off a number of top clubs for Kamara.
"We've worked on this all weekend. It's been exhausting," Storrie told the club website.
"But the end result is worth it because we have acquired another quality striker who some of the top clubs in Europe were interested in."
Kamara is not available to make his debut in Monday night's game against Fulham.
