Cooper seals Woods deal

Martin Woods has joined League One outfit Hartlepool on a one month loan.

Pools boss Neale Cooper is keen to bolster his ranks and has moved quickly to secure the services of the promising 18-year-old.

Hartlepool had hoped to lure Kevin Betsy to the North East on a permanent basis this week but the versatile forward spurned their advances to sign for Oldham Athletic.

Meanwhile, defender Hugh Robertson is to have a third scan on a troublesome foot injury.

The highly-rated full back has missed the club's last three games and is now eager to get to the root of the problem.

"Hugh's pain in his foot is not getting any better, so we just want to get to the bottom of this problem as soon as possible," Cooper told the club's official website.
