Oldham seal Betsy deal

Oldham Athletic have confirmed that they have signed Barnsley forward Kevin Betsy.

Hartlepool and Port Vale were also vying for the player's services but Latics boss Brian Talbot has now sealed a deal.

Although Betsy proved one of Barnsley's key performers last term, netting 11 goals from a variety positions, he was deemed surplus to requirements at Oakwell and will now look to rejuvenate his career at Boundary Park.

Betsy played seven games on loan at Hartlepool earlier this season and is now in line to make his debut against the club he rejected on Saturday.
