Scott earns proper deal

Bury defender Paul Scott has signed a new contract until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old initially joined The Shakers last month on non-contract terms before the club faced Chester City.

Scott was released by League One club Huddersfield Town following eight years with the West Yorkshire outfit.

Bury boss Graham Barrow looks to have been impressed by Scott's contribution since arriving and has decided to give the player a proper contract for the current campaign.
