Cramb completes Grimsby move

Grimsby Town have completed their capture of well-travelled striker Colin Cramb.

Grimsby Town have completed their capture of well-travelled striker Colin Cramb.

The Scottish front man has signed non-contract forms with The Mariners after holding talks with manager Russell Slade.

Cramb negotiated a release from his contract with fellow League Two side Shrewsbury Town last week, after training with Grimsby earlier in the month.

The 30-year-old struck a deal at Blundell Park and will now be hoping to secure a more permanent arrangement.

He did his cause no harm by marking his debut for Grimsby with the team's goal in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Carlisle United in the LDV Vans Trophy.
