Injury troubles for Fulham

Chris Coleman's disappointing day was compounded by a couple of injuries.

Chris Coleman's disappointing day was compounded by injuries to Ian Pearce and Tomasz Radzinski.

Fulham slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa and they made the return trip to London with a couple of casualties.

Pearce lasted just ten minutes before being forced off with a knee injury, while Radzinski damaged his hamstring while warming up at the interval.

"Pearcey has damaged knee ligaments," said Coleman. "Which is a loss for us.

"Zesh (Rehman) came on and did well. He is going to be a good player.

"Tomasz Radzinski was warming up in the half time break and tweaked a hamstring, so he is unavailable to us.

"That is the way it goes I suppose."
