Crystal Palace defender Fitz Hall has turned down the chance to play for Scotland.

Crystal Palace defender Fitz Hall has turned down the chance to play for Scotland.

Hall was approached by Berti Vogts about representing Scotland after the German learnt he was eligible to play for them.

The former Oldham and Southampton ace is eligible to play for England, Scotland or Barbados, but Hall has set his sights on breaking into the England set-up.

"I have spoken to Vogts, but I was born in England and I see myself as English," said Hall.

"For now I just want to concentrate on playing for Palace in The Premiership."
