Nantes goalkeeper Mickael Landreau is discussing a new contract with the club, which he hopes will facilitate his sale.Landreau has spent his entire career with Les Canaris and is currently under contract until the summer of 2006.
He has been linked with Paris Saint Germain and appears to be showing a growing yearning to move on to pastures new.
But before sealing a transfer, the 25-year-old wants to sign fresh terms with Nantes, with the aim of making his exit easier.
The France international has asked the Nantes paymasters to extend his deal until 2008, while he will accept a reduction in his wages.
The sticking point, though, is that the shot-stopper wants a clause inserted into the contract which will allow him to leave the club for é¼2 million.
