Both featured for Shrewsbury's reserves against Manchester United and were hoping to impress boss Gary Peters.
"I've got to see as many players as I can close up to see how they can do," said Peters.
"There are a lot of players looking for contracts for next year and we have got to be aware of everyone who is around.
"It's a thing we'll be doing for the rest of the season and looking at players who may add something to the squad."
