Moore blasts Baggies

West Brom's Darren Moore is unhappy not to be offered a new deal.

West Brom's Darren Moore has slammed the club for their failure to offer him a new contract.

The powerful defender is disappointed that Bryan Robson has not given the go ahead for talks on a new deal - feeling he should be rewarded for his part in the club's promotion to the top flight last year.

"I'm very disappointed the club has not come back to me with an offer," said Moore.

"I thought with all the success we've had I'd be offered something. It's gutting."

Robson, who took over at the club from Gary Megson, insists that he cannot make a decision on a player he has barely had a chance to see.

"He's only played four first-team games under me," stated Robson.

"I need to see him more before making any decisions."

Meanwhile, West Brom have terminated Phillip Midworth's contract by mutual consent.
