Glovers in Devaney link

Yeovil Town have been linked with Cheltenham Town winger Martin Devaney.

The 24-year-old's future at Whaddon Road seems uncertain after the former Birmingham City trainee rejected the offer of a new-two-year deal with The Robins.

The former Coventry City man has been placed on the transfer list by manager John Ward and local reports are suggesting his availability is interesting Glovers boss Gary Johnson.

Another League Two rival in Swansea City have also been linked with Cheltenham's top scorer, though Vetch Field boss Kenny Jackett has already bolstered his midfield with the addition of Kevin McLeod from Queens Park Rangers this week.

Should Yeovil decide to pursue a move for the attacking midfield man, they are likely to wait until the season's end, when Devaney is out of contract.
