Manchester City winger Lee Croft has signed a new one-year deal.
Manchester City winger Lee Croft has signed a new one-year deal at The City of Manchester Stadium.
Croft broke into the City team towards the end of the season and made several eye-catching performances when coming off the bench to good effect.
City boss Stuart Pearce was keen to keep Croft at the club and the 19-year-old has moved to end speculation over his future by inking his new contract.
"Lee is delighted," the player's agent Alex Levack told skysports.com.
"He is happy Stuart Pearce is manager now and is looking forward to pushing on and making further progress.
"He's had a taste and can't wait now. He is raring to go."
Croft, who is the most-capped England Youth international of all time, spent a successful spell on loan at Oldham Athletic which helped develop his game.
City have also revealed that Stephen Jordan has agreed a new two-year contract, in principle, with the Eastlands outfit.
