Gunners join Nasri hunt

Arsenal are ready to test Marseille's resolve over their teenage starlet Samir Nasri.

The 17-year-old has emerged on the first team scene this season and has impressed, although he lost his place in Phillipe Troussier's team towards the end of the season.

Nasri is reported to have become a bit disgruntled with life on the bench and, despite his tender years, is now considering his future.

The playmaker has been trailed by a host of English clubs with Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle all keeping tabs on his progress.

However, Arsene Wenger and his French scouts are known to have been impressed with Nasri and are now considering an offer - although they may yet baulk at the asking price which is understood to be in excess of ‚é¼10 million.
