Monaco snap up Kapo

Monaco have completed the loan signing of Juventus forward Olivier Kapo.

Monaco have continued their squad changes apace with the loan signing of Olivier Kapo.

The forward becomes the fifth player to move to the Principality since the end of the Ligue 1 season, and he will wear the number 17 shirt at Stade Louis II.

After five impressive years with Auxerre the French international made the switch to Italian giants Juventus last summer.

However the 24-year-old struggled to make an impression at the Serie A champions, and ASM boss Didier Deschamps has now offered him the chance to resurrect his career back in Le Championnat.

Kapo had also attracted interest from Liverpool, Newcastle and Real Betis, but will now join up with Monaco on July 4 for their training camp in Brittany after agreeing the loan move.

The attacking star joins Gerard, Guillame Warmuz, Toifilou Maoulida and Olivier Sorlin in signing up for Deschamps in time for next season.
