Real star robbed at gun-point

Real Madrid's Roberto Carlos has been robbed whilst giving an interview in Brazil.

Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos has been robbed at gunpoint whilst giving an interview in Brazil.

The defender was travelling as a passenger in a car in Belo Horizonte and was speaking to Radio Jovem Pam on his mobile.

When the car stopped at a set of traffic lights two men carrying guns shattered its windows and demanded Carlos and his companion hand over their valuables.

The Brazil international then proceeded to explain to the radio station that he had just been robbed.

The 32-year-old had a ring taken by the attackers, but claimed they did not recognise him.

"I have just been robbed while I am talking from my car. Oh Jesus, I have been robbed,'' Carlos told the radio station.

"They didn't recognise me because I was sitting in the back seat. I am shocked and very scared.''
