Darlington have signed two more players ahead of the new League Two season.

Quakers boss David Hodgson has penned former Sheffield Wednesday and Colchester United striker Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu (pictured) to a six-month contract.

He has also signed Walsall midfielder Nathan Jameson to a month-to-month deal with the North East outfit.

With the club starting the new season with a trip to Rushden & Diamonds on Saturday, Hodgson was pleased to boost his squad with additions of Ndumbu-Nsungu and Jameson.

"Guylain has already opened his account for us against Durham and he will give us an extra option up front as we go out in search of goals," Hodgson told the club's official website.

"Nathan gives us further depth in midfield, along with our other new signings, Anthony Peacock and Carlos Logan, and has been impressive during our pre-season training."
