The German skipper looks destined to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, with Real the red hot favourites to land his signature.

And Zizou reckons that, once Ballack has sorted out his problems in Munich, Los Galacticos will receive him with open arms.

"If there is a type [of player] with qualities which will suit Real Madrid, that is Michael Ballack," he told Bild.

"Nevertheless it will be difficult for us to play together. I will not relinquish my place easily.

"Once he has sorted out his situation with Bayern, we will receive him with open arms. He is a fighter and he is in great form this season."
