Jimmy Bullard has warned Cristiano Ronaldo not to showboat on Monday evening.
Wigan Athletic midfielder Jimmy Bullard has warned Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo not to showboat on Monday evening. The Latics will look to avenge their 4-0 Carling Cup defeat to The Red Devils when they host Sir Alex Ferguson's men at The JJB Stadium - live on Sky Sports 1.
The former West Ham United and Peterborough United player was less than impressed with Portuguese star Ronaldo's on-field antics at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, as United cruised to Carling Cup success a week ago Sunday.
The 27-year-old warned the former Sporting Lisbon starlet will not have life so easy when the two clubs meet again on Monday.
"I was just waiting for him to do it again, then I could kick him up in the air," Bullard said.
"I respect him as a great player, but that's just part of his game and I'm sure he does it just to wind you up."
Bullard is determined not to see a third four-goal drubbing at the hands of United this season.
"We are definitely going to stop it becoming three on the trot, even if I have to start fouling to do it."
