Monaco making move for Yaya?

Reports in the French media suggest that Monaco have made an offer for in-demand Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure. The 23-year-old is one of the continent's hottest properties having excelled at current club Olympiakos as well as shining at the World Cup finals with The Elephants.
Toure has fuelled talk of an exit by claiming he is keen to leave Greece, and a number of top clubs are believed to be interested in signing the midfield powerhouse.
Barcelona, Lyon, Stuttgart and Arsenal, home of brother Kolo, have all been linked with the younger Toure, but Monaco have reportedly tabled a firm offer to Olympiakos.
One stumbling block to any potential deal could be the fact that back in April Toure stated the only French club he was prepared to join was reigning Ligue 1 champions Lyon.
Monaco will also have to loosen the purse strings if they are to capture the African star, with Arsene Wenger's Gunners apparently having a bid of around £8 million rejected in January.
