Levante have captured Juventus midfielder Olivier Kapo on a season-long loan.

The 25-year-old is latest of a number of high-profile signings by the Spanish outfit who are preparing for life back in the top-flight.

Kapo joined Juventus from Auxerre in the summer of 2004 but failed to make much impact at Stadio delle Alpi and made just two starts in his first season in Italy.

He spent last term on loan at Monaco where he enjoyed a more successful time of it, bagging five goals in 25 appearances.

However, Monaco opted against making the deal permanent and he has now accepted a fresh challenge in the shape of a switch to Levante.

The deal will take the form of an initial one-year loan, although it is understood Levante have the option to make it permanent at the end of the season for around ‚é¼3 million (£2 million) should he impress.
