Jose Mourinho feels the Petr Cech incident was a 'real nightmare' and has questioned why it took 30 minutes for an ambulance to arrive at The Madejski Stadium.

Cech is recovering in hospital after suffering a fractured skull during the opening minute of Chelsea's 1-0 win at Reading on Saturday.

The Czech keeper was hurt after being caught by Stephen Hunt's knee and Mourinho remains unhappy about the collision.

Also causing the Blues boss concern is the fact Cech was waiting in the dressing room for half an hour before an ambulance arrived.

"There are still other things which concern me, not just concern me, but leave me in a very emotional situation," Mourinho told a press conference on Sky Sports News.

"My goalkeeper was in the dressing room for 30 minutes waiting for an ambulance. The ambulance then couldn't go in the direction of the dressing room and he couldn't leave the dressing room properly.

"He left the pitch 30 minutes after my doctor was calling for an urgent ambulance. If my goalkeeper dies in that dressing room, or in that process, it is something English football has to think about.

"It looks like what I did against Liverpool that 'shut up' was a nightmare, that a player from Manchester City shows half his ass for two seconds was also a big nightmare.

"I think this is a real nightmare, a real nightmare.

"This is much more important than football. I would like somebody to tell my why my keeper, in this situation, had to be in the dressing room for 30 minutes waiting for an ambulance."

He added: "In relation to the accident, and to my words after the game in Reading, I don't change one single word of my interviews after the game.

"To change I would change for stronger words and I don't want to do it.

"I just want to try to forget it, but I repeat, I don't change one single word from my interviews after the game."
