Former Fulham goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny has been handed a trial at VfL Bochum.

Former Fulham goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny has been handed a trial at Bundesliga side VfL Bochum.

Bochum coach Marcel Koller is unhappy with the form of current first-choice Peter Skov-Jensen and is to examine the former Czech international.

Drobny recently had a short spell with Ipswich Town after terminating his contract at Craven Cottage in October.

The 27-year-old will look to get his career back on track with Bochum, where Koller is keen to take a look to see if he is ready to challenge Skov-Jensen for the starting role.
