Lille land Metz man

Lille have completed the January signing of Metz captain Ludovic Obraniak.

The 22-year-old was widely tipped for a move to Claude Puel's side this month and the youngster has now completed a ‚é¼1.2million (£786,000) switch to the Northern French side.

As part of the deal, Switzerland international Daniel Gygax has been loaned to Metz for the rest of the season after falling out of favour with his parent club.

Gygax will aim to help his new side make a swift return to France's top flight, with Metz currently leading the way in Ligue 2.
