Cameroon not the Job for Joseph

Joseph-Desire Job snubbed Cameroon to concentrate on Sedan's survival fight.

Joseph-Desire Job has revealed he snubbed the chance of international football with Cameroon in order to concentrate on Sedan's survival fight.

Job received the call from Cameroon for their 24th March date against Liberia, but the former Middlesbrough striker wants to remain at Sedan to aid the Ligue 1 side instead.

Despite rejecting the opportunity to play for the Africans for the first time in five years, Job insists he would welcome another international call in the future.

"I have my own reasons in declining the national team call," Job told L'Equipe. "I hope to come back for the national team in different circumstances.

"Today I am, above all, focused on Sedan."
