Max Tonetto is likely to miss Roma's quarter-final with Man Utd through injury.
Max Tonetto is likely to miss Roma's UEFA Champions League quarter-final with Manchester United through injury.
The full-back has suffered a thigh strain and is expected to be ruled out of both legs, starting with Wednesday's meeting at Stadio Olimpico.
Tonetto will undergo further tests on Monday to determine the full extent of the damage, but reports suggest he will be out for a month.
Meanwhile, Roma coach Luciano Spalletti is confident his players are in good heart for the first meeting with the Premiership leaders.
Roma drew 1-1 with Milan in Serie A on Saturday and Spalletti feels the game has set his team up for the tussle with United.
Spalletti said: "My guys have done what they had to do. We showed ourselves to be in a good fitness condition and this is a pleasure for me.
"This will give us the right stimulus that will help us face such an important match like the one against Manchester United on Wednesday.
"There won't be problems with my guys' engagement for that match."
