Noro makes comeback

Sedan captain Stephane Noro has returned to action following a fractured knee.

Sedan captain Stephane Noro has returned to action following several months on the sidelines with a fractured knee.

The midfielder picked up the injury in October following a clash with Paris Saint Germain striker Pierre-Alain Frau but featured for several minutes in last week's 1-0 win over Nantes.

"After so many months out it is good to be back on the pitch," Noro told But. "And we won against Nantes so it was a good time to return.

"I was told I wouldn't play again this season. I can't play the full 90 minutes but I have to play in order to get back to form.

"I was lucky not to be the only one sidelined so I trained with Alaeddine Yahia, Romain Sartre and Jerome Le Moigne, I wasn't alone.

"Pierre-Alain Frau has called me a couple of times during my convalescence. We have also met each other, I have no problems with him.

"I have come to the stadium to watch matches because it is important to back your team-mates and to show them that you support them."
