FA set 'competitive prices'

The Football Association has claimed that they have set 'competitive prices' for the FA Cup final.A plethora of empty seats at both Villa Park and Old Trafford this weekend for the FA Cup semi-finals suggest they were some way out in pricing for a family market, but for the final, chief executive Brian Barwick is confident the FA has got it spot on.
Prices for showpiece events have been a bug-bear of supporters across the country for a number of seasons, and it is a bone of contention Barwick is keen to solve.
The FA has confirmed that tickets will be priced at £35, £60, £80 and £95. A limited number of tickets will also be made available to Manchester United and Chelsea at £17.50 for the under 16s.
Barwick said: "It was important to set ticket prices at a sensible and affordable level for the first FA Cup final at the new Wembley.
"We believe these are very competitive prices for what will be a historic match."
