Celtic agree Donati deal

Celtic have announced the signing of Massimo Donati from Milan.

The 26-year-old has inked a four-year deal at Parkhead after Celtic agreed a deal in the region of £3million with Milan for Donati.

Celtic are believed to have beaten a host of Italian clubs to Donati's signature after holding talks with the player earlier this week.

Donati is Celtic's fourth signing of the summer following the captures of Scott Brown, Scott McDonald and Chris Killen.

A Celtic spokesperson said: "We are delighted that Massimo has signed for the club.

"He is a player of real quality and we're sure he will be a great addition to our squad."

The move is subject to a medical and the Italian is set to undergo the medical next week before putting the finishing touches to the deal.
