Tenorio still has Prem dream

Carlos Tenorio is still hoping that he will seal a summer switch to the Premier League.

The Ecuadorian international is currently based in Qatar with Al-Saad and has bagged over 100 goals in three seasons.

The 28-year-old is now keen to seal a move to Europe with England his main aim.

A host of Premier League clubs have scouted him in recent months and Tenorio's agent admits that interest is strong.

"We understand that a number of Premiership clubs have approached Al-Saad directly with a view to signing Carlos Tenorio," Ricardo Pachon told skysports.com.

"This is making the possibility of the transfer of our client complicated, Carlos is very keen on playing in the English Premiership and we have been given personal undertakings by Al-Saad to consider a realistic offer brought through us, myself and Carlos, to make the player's dream come true."

Tenorio has been named in Ecuador's Copa America squad and he will look to impress at a tournament which begins on Tuesday.
