Paris Saint Germain have completed the signing of Zoumana Camara from St Etienne.
Paris Saint Germain have completed the signing of defender Zoumana Camara from St Etienne.Paul Le Guen has been chasing the former France international all summer and the two clubs finally agreed on a ,é¼6million (£4million) fee.
Camara, 28, put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract at the Parc des Princes to finalise his switch from St Etienne.
"He is among the best players in France in his position," said PSG president Alain Cayzac.
PSG held off late interest from Bordeaux to land the former Internazionale, Marseille and Leeds United stopper.
Meanwhile, young full-back Boukary Drame could leave PSG after Nice had a ,é¼1million (£650,000) offer accepted by the capital club.
Cayzac revealed: "Both clubs have already agreed the transfer conditions."
However, the president has again insisted that midfielder Jerome Rothen will not be departing PSG to join Lyon.
The French champions are keen on the former Monaco man and have confirmed their interest to their Ligue 1 rivals.
"So far Lyon have sent me a letter to show their interest in Rothen," Cayzac added. "But I don't want to talk.
"I am not doing it to annoy Lyon or Rothen, but I just want to keep the player."
