Dundee appeal against Neil McCann’s two-match ban

Dundee have appealed against manager Neil McCann’s two-match touchline ban.
McCann and St Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark were both handed two-match suspensions for "excessive misconduct" on Thursday following a confrontation at the end of the Tayside derby on March 10.
The Dundee boss denied slapping Clark, claiming his hand had caught the substitute as he tried to free himself. The pair clashed after McCann initially remonstrated with Saints kit-man Manny Fowler following his side's defeat.
A club statement read: "Dundee Football Club can confirm that we have this afternoon appealed the two-match suspension handed to Neil McCann by the Scottish FA."
McCann will now be able to take his place in the dugout for Sunday's Scottish Premiership encounter with Hearts at Dens Park.
Dundee are currently 10th in the Premiership, three points above Partick Thistle in the relegation play-off spot.
