Rangers will be without leading goalscorer Martyn Waghorn when they travel to Palmerston on Sunday to play Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship, live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 3.30pm.

Waghorn suffered a knee injury after scoring a penalty in the 2-1 Scottish Cup victory against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Tuesday.

Rangers boss Mark Warburton claims the striker could be out for the rest of the season, although Waghorn has travelled to London to assess the severity of the injury.

Forwards Michael O'Halloran and Billy King return after being cup-tied against Killie while long-term absentee David Templeton (knee) remains sidelined.

The visitors will be looking to consolidate their lead in the promotion race after missing the chance to increase the lead at the top of the Championship by drawing at Alloa last weekend.
