Eibar secured their first win in 10 matches with an emphatic 5-0 triumph over 10-man Real Betis at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium.
The hosts, who had lost seven of their last nine La Liga matches, got off to a flying start when Betis centre-back Jordi Amat diverted the ball into his own net after just six minutes.
Midfielder Gonzalo Escalante extended Los Armeros' lead with a towering header from David Junca's 30th-minute corner.
After the break, Charles earned his side a penalty when he was hauled down by Aissa Mandi.
The Algerian defender was dismissed, despite the fact contact appeared to have been made outside of the area, and Brazilian striker Charles picked himself up to dispatch the spot-kick.
Charles doubled his tally with a composed finish from Ivan Alejo's cutback following a nice dummy from Sergi Enrich before the latter rounded off the rout with a powerful strike 10 minutes from time.
