Bradford were behind for only six minutes. Bishop denied Stephen Humphrys but then made a hash of his punch from Tommy Leigh's cross, the ball dropping for Wright to head into the unguarded net.
Humphrys went close for Bradford with a shot that rattled the bar just before half-time.
Wimbledon restored their lead in the 53rd minute, with Stevens finishing cleverly from Nathan Asiimwe's cross.
Bradford responded again eight minutes later through Pointon after Bishop parried a shot from Humphrys.
Wimbledon had chances to go back in front through Browne and Steve Seddon. But it was Bradford who found a winner when sub Will Swan pounced on a mix-up between Bishop and Ryan Johnson after 83 minutes.
